Where the lemon groves meet the Tyrrhenian Sea

A fourteen-room villa suspended between cliff and sky, above the coast of Positano.

The Villa

Slow luxury, terraced above the water

Villa Solène began life as a fisherman’s house and grew, terrace by terrace, into a retreat of fourteen rooms. Days here are measured in light — from the first espresso on the terrace to the last swim before dinner.

There is no rush and no crowd. Just the sea, the lemons, and time enough to notice both.

We arrived as guests and left feeling we had been let in on a secret. Every hour at Villa Solène felt unhurried and golden.
